Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for payments made through Yoiden, operated by Crescendo Transcription Private Limited. It applies to court bookings and tournament/league entry fees paid within the App. This policy forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service.
1. How Payments Work
Yoiden is a platform that connects players with tournament/league organizers and court/venue operators. Court bookings and entry fees are payments for services provided by those venues and organizers. Payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Razorpay. Yoiden does not store your card, UPI, or bank details.
2. Cancellations by You
- Whether a booking or entry fee can be cancelled, and any deadline to do so, is set by the relevant venue or organizer and shown to you before you confirm payment.
- If your booking or registration is eligible for cancellation under that policy, you may cancel it from within the App or by contacting us at aditya.patki@crescendotranscriptions.com with your booking or registration reference.
- Cancellations requested after the applicable deadline, and no-shows or late arrivals, are generally not eligible for a refund unless the venue or organizer policy states otherwise.
3. Cancellations by a Venue or Organizer
If a venue cancels your court booking, or an organizer cancels or materially reschedules an event you paid to enter, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount you paid for that booking or entry. We will process it to your original payment method.
4. Refund Method & Timeline
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method through Razorpay. Once a refund is approved, it is typically credited within 5–7 business days, though the exact time depends on your bank or payment provider.
5. Platform / Convenience Fees
Any Yoiden platform or convenience fee shown separately at checkout is non-refundable, except where a booking or event is cancelled by the venue or organizer, or as required by law.
6. Failed or Duplicate Payments
If a payment fails but an amount is debited, or you are charged more than once for the same booking, the excess is normally reversed automatically by Razorpay. If it is not, contact us at aditya.patki@crescendotranscriptions.com with the transaction details and we will investigate and refund any amount wrongly charged.
7. How to Request a Refund
Email aditya.patki@crescendotranscriptions.com from your registered contact, with your booking or registration reference and the reason for your request. We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days.
