Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Yoiden mobile app and website (the “Service”), operated by Crescendo Transcription Private Limited(“Yoiden”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. A parent or legal guardian may create and manage an account on behalf of a minor who participates in an event, and is responsible for that account and for accepting these Terms on the minor’s behalf.

2. Your Account

• You register using your mobile phone number and a self-chosen PIN. Keep your PIN confidential; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
• Notify us promptly at aditya.patki@crescendotranscriptions.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. The Service

Yoiden is a platform that lets players discover, register for, and follow pickleball and other sports tournaments and leagues, view stats and ratings, and discover and book courts. Yoiden acts as a technology platform connecting players, tournament organizers, and court/venue operators. Events and venues are operated by third parties, and their listings, schedules, rules, and availability are their responsibility.

4. Bookings, Entry Fees & Payments

• Court bookings and tournament/league entry fees are payments for real-world services. Payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay; by paying, you also agree to Razorpay’s applicable terms.
• Prices, availability, taxes, and any convenience or platform fees are shown before you confirm a payment.
• Cancellations and refunds for a booking or entry fee are governed by the policy of the relevant venue or organizer, shown at the time of purchase, and by our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Where we facilitate a refund, it is returned to your original payment method through Razorpay.
• You are responsible for arriving on time and complying with venue and organizer rules. Yoiden is not responsible for a venue’s or organizer’s failure to honor a booking or event.

5. Tournaments, Leagues & Organizers

Organizers are responsible for the events they run, including eligibility, format, scheduling, scoring, prizes, and conduct on-site. By registering, you agree to the organizer’s rules for that event. Yoiden is not a party to any agreement between you and an organizer or venue and is not liable for their acts or omissions.

6. Ratings & DUPR

Skill ratings and statistics shown in the App are provided for informational purposes and may be estimated from your match history. If you choose to connect a third-party rating service such as DUPR, your use of that service is governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy policy, and we are not responsible for the accuracy of ratings it provides.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• Impersonate another person, or provide false registration or match information.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other players, organizers, or staff.
• Interfere with, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share.

8. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload (such as photos). By uploading, you grant Yoiden a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use that content solely to operate and provide the Service. You represent that you have the rights to the content you upload.

9. Intellectual Property

The Yoiden name, logo, app, website, and their content (excluding user content and third-party marks) are owned by Crescendo Transcription Private Limited and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our permission.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that listings, schedules, or ratings are accurate or complete.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yoiden and Crescendo Transcription Private Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service, events you attend, venues you book, or the acts of organizers, venues, or other users. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Termination & Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Me > Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service unlawfully. On deletion or termination, your right to use the Service ends; certain records may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy or as required by law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and, for significant changes, notify you through the App. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service.
